Karen Kemper, Executive DirectorKaren Kemper has been with Holiday Health Care Corporation for 14 years. In her current position as Executive Director for The Village at Holiday, she oversees all programs and services at the assisted living facility. During her tenure, Karen has worked in a variety of roles at both the Village and the Heritage Center. These roles have included, Director of Support Services, Resident Care Coordinator, Social Services, office manager, marketing and admissions. Karen feels that working in both facilities has allowed her to better understand the needs of the residents and as a result, provide the highest quality services possible.
Christine Fox, LPN
Health Service Director As Health Service Director, Christine assesses and communicates resident needs to families, physicians, home health agencies, therapy staff and the resident care staff at The Village. She supervises resident care staff, companion sitters, office coordinators and transportation staff. Christine previously worked as a CAN/QMA at the Heritage Center at Holiday from 1988-1990 while attending the Practical Nursing programing at IVY Tech Community College. In 2009, she returned to the Heritage Center where she worked as a nurse before coming to The Village in 2010. Christine is proud to be part of such a wonderful team and to have the opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of our residents.
Shelley Faulkner, AD
Activity Director Shelley has been an Activity Director for 12 years. She has been with The Village for the past 6 years, dedicated to providing a quality program that reaches out to meet the needs of each individual. She is constantly on the lookout for new and exciting experiences to enrich our residents’ lives. Shelley’s caring and compassionate nature is evident in her ability to know and love the residents, making each resident feel an important part of our family community. She has found in her career as an Activity Director that it is in giving that we receive the most.
Elizabeth Hatcher,
Housekeeping Director Holiday Health Care Corporation impressed Elizabeth from the beginning when she first worked at the Heritage Center 12 years ago. She has been with The Village for 6 years as Director of Housekeeping. Her strong sense of love and care for the residents and staff was and continues to be most evident.
Brenda Potts, CCC,
Village Chef A graduate of Vincennes University with an Associate of Science degree in Culinary Arts, Brenda has 16 years of experience as a Cuisine Chef. She has been with The Village 7 of those years. As head chef, Brenda oversees the daily preparation of our chef prepared meals in our fine dining room. She is a member of the Tri-State Chefs Club; Brenda helps with feeding the hungry children of the Tri-State. Her passion is preparing superb meals for our residents.
Dawn Covey,
Director of Dining Room & Hospitality Dawn has 35 years of experience in fine dining. For the past 7 years she has enjoyed providing quality fine dining services for the residents of The Village. She has great affection for the residents and their families, and strives to share love, care, and compassion as she ensures a pleasant and relaxing dining atmosphere.
