About Us
In 1969, the Dunigan family of Evansville, Indiana had a vision for a health services company that would meet the needs, not only of the elderly and others who needed nursing care, but also provide living accommodations for those who were still independent and active. Bridging these two separate communities would require services that would accommodate the special needs of residents.
Holiday Health Care is a diverse health services company that includes a retirement community, nursing facility, physician services, and hospice company all on one campus.
The Holiday Community is located on Evansville's north side and continues to be owned and operated by the Dunigan family.
We employ over 350 of the finest health care professionals in the Tri-State area.
Maintaining the focus of our philosophy of service is always our primary mission. In the early '70's, we installed the phrase, "People Caring for People" into our logo and name identification. That phrase is still at the focus of why we are here and is the heart of our mission.
